Kamalvand: Fans Enjoyed the Khaibar vs. Persepolis Match

Khorramabad – Khaibar Khorramabad head coach said fans enjoyed the match against Persepolis, adding that Persepolis is a powerful side with quality players.

According to Mehr reporter, Faraz Kamalvand, in a press conference after the goalless draw against Tehran's Persepolis, apologized for being late to the meeting, described the match as an interesting and timely match and praised the performance of both teams.

Kamalvand stated: First of all, I apologize for coming to the meeting with a little delay. I think it was a very good game and both teams played good football. This match was one of the few matches that had such a goal situation, excitement and movement of the ball in the penalty area of the two teams.

Referring to the performance of his team in the first half, the head coach of Khyber Khorramabad added: I think we had a very good start in the first half and this half belonged to our team. Khyber players could have used the 100% scoring opportunities they got at the beginning of the match, but unfortunately these opportunities did not turn into goals.

He also said about the process of the game in the second half: In the second half, the balance was heavy towards Persepolis. One of the reasons for this is the high number of quality players in this team. Persepolis has so much talent that it replaces any player, the replacement player not only does not reduce the quality of the team, but can be at the same level as the previous player. For this reason, the technical staff of this team is open for changes.

Kamalvand praised Tartar and the quality of Persepolis

Congratulating Mehdi Tartar, head coach of Persepolis, for building a strong team, Kamalvand said: I congratulate Mr. Tartar, my good and dear friend, for building a very good team. Really, it had been maybe three or four years that, after Mr. Branko's time, I had not seen Persepolis so refreshed.

Referring to the technical quality of the Reds, he added: These conditions show Mr. Tartar's ability and technical tact.

In the end, the head coach of Khyber expressed his hope that the spectators present at Takhti Stadium in Khorramabad will be satisfied with the quality of the match and noted: I think that the spectators who came to the stadium enjoyed the game of the two teams.
