Bahadoran Pistachio Festival Ends Today

The first Bahadoran Pistachio Festival in Mehriz County, held to showcase the agricultural, cultural and tourism potential of the area, concludes today, Thursday, 23 Mehr.

The first pistachio festival of Bahadran village of Mehriz city was held with the aim of introducing the agricultural, cultural and tourism capacities of this region and it will end today, Thursday, October 23.

According to Aria's Heritage Reporter, the first pistachio festival of Bahadran village started on October 21st at Shahada Sports Complex of Bahadran, and hosts enthusiasts and visitors with the performance of cultural and artistic programs, music and humorous programs.

Mohammad Rostagari, Director General of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts of Yazd Province, along with Seyed Alireza Salarhosseini, Deputy Director of Tourism of this General Directorate, visited different parts of the festival and were informed about the capacities and programs of this event.

This festival, focusing on the introduction of the pistachio product and the local abilities of Bahadran region, has provided an opportunity to introduce the agricultural tourism capacities of Mehriz city and the link between local production and tourism.

The closing ceremony of this festival will be held today, Thursday, October 23, from 16:00 to 22:00.
