U.S. President Donald Trump criticized Congresswoman Ilhan Omar at a rally in Ohio, as supporters chanted "deport" hours after federal agents searched the congresswoman's home.

Trump held the rally in Youngstown, Ohio, just hours after federal agents executed a search warrant at Omar's home in connection with a criminal investigation.

Trump targeted Omar and the Somali community in Minnesota.

"He's a disaster. He comes from a country with no laws, no police, no military. All they do is shoot each other, and he comes to our country and says, 'I have a constitutional right.' He has a constitutional right. He tells us about the constitution and he comes from one of the worst countries in the world," Trump joked.

He then took aim at the "brutal Somali gang members" who opened fire at a Minnesota high school homecoming ceremony last week, and went on to mention the FBI's arrest of another Somali immigrant who allegedly planned an ISIS-style attack on a shopping mall.

While the violence of Somali gangs has terrorized Minnesota, the former soldier of the Department of National Defense is pouring into people's laps: "Where is Ilhan Omar?"

"That's not what we want in this country. We don't want that," Trump said as the crowd began to chant. "Deportation."

"They come from a part of the world that only knows how to kill each other. All they do is kill each other in the streets and come to the United States of America and tell us how to run our country," he added.

The Justice Department later added that the investigation was "criminal" in nature.

He continued: Trump has targeted me with baseless lies and smear campaigns for ten years. This is just the latest escalation in his campaign of political intimidation. I will not be silent."
