40 to 45 percent of refueling is done with the station's emergency card
Referring to the increase in the use of emergency cards, the manager of the smart fuel system said: Currently, about 40 to 45 percent of refueling is done through emergency cards. The post 40-45% of refueling is done with the station's emergency card appeared first on Safir Arjan.
According to the report of Ambassador Arjan, Abbas Basfa, the manager of Smart Fuel System, referring to the increase in the use of emergency cards at gas stations, said: Currently, about 40 to 45 percent of refueling is done through emergency cards; While these cards were originally planned for when you forget or do not have your personal fuel card with you, especially during trips.
He stated: Emergency cards were created with the aim of facilitating refueling and preventing problems for people at gas stations, but over time, the use of these cards increased greatly, and now a significant share of refueling is done with cards whose users' identity cannot be clearly observed.
The manager of the smart fuel system added: Most of the supply outside the fuel network is also done through emergency cards. At some point, the fuel consumption was reduced and it was expected that the process of optimizing the consumption would continue, but with the increase in the use of emergency cards, the consumption returned to a large extent to the previous conditions.
Referring to the implementation of the plan to identify the emergency cards of the stations, he stated: The purpose of the implementation of this plan is to identify and monitor the people who use the emergency cards in order to increase the possibility of dealing with fuel smuggling and off-grid supply.
How to refuel with an emergency ID card
The manager of the smart fuel system explained about the process of using emergency cards in the new plan: in this method, after visiting the fuel supply station, the person must first be authenticated through one of his valid bank cards. After swiping the bank card, he selects the required amount of fuel and by entering the bank card code, he will receive a receipt or refueling code.
He continued: The four-digit code inserted in this receipt is used for refueling, and there is no need to use the "four-to-one" fixed code like in the past. In this way, the refueling process is done with an emergency card, but the identity of the user can also be registered and tracked.
Receive a thousand tomans for authentication
The manager of the smart fuel system also said about receiving a thousand tomans for the authentication process: this amount is deposited into the accounts of companies that provide authentication services.
He pointed out that the maximum limit for receiving this fee has been set at five thousand tomans, and added: despite this limit, the amount of one thousand tomans has been considered for each authentication.
The director of Smart Fuel System stated that this fee is collected based on the relevant licenses and emphasized: It is stipulated that this amount will return to the cycle of providing services to the people and should not be considered as the profit of the companies providing these services.
