Tradition of Matchmaking Largely Forgotten

HAMADAN – Secretary of the Population and Family Headquarters of the Islamic Propaganda Organization, criticizing the decline of the benevolent culture of mediation in marriage, said the good tradition of matchmaking has been largely forgotten.

Hamadan, the secretary of the Jamiat and Family Headquarters of the Islamic Propaganda Organization, criticized the loss of color of the benevolent culture of marriage mediation and said: The good tradition of marriage mediation has been largely forgotten.

According to the news report of Ambassador of Arjan, Mohammad Sadiq Abu Torabi, in Saba's specialized event focusing on the marriage matching plan, pointed out the hidden aspects of population crises and stated: Unfortunately, a significant number of people in the country are known as definite singles, people who have reached a point where they have made a definite decision not to start a family even with the provision of marriage grounds, and this decision has led to the emergence of unconventional and traumatic behavior patterns.

Criticizing the loss of color of the benevolent culture of mediation in the matter of marriage, he stated: In the past, if someone provided good ground through mediation, he was appreciated, but today this good tradition has been largely forgotten to the extent that parents and family elders do not consider it a serious duty and responsibility to facilitate the marriage of young people.

The secretary of the Jamiat and Family Headquarters of the Islamic Propaganda Organization expressed his regret that this issue was neglected in religious spaces and noted: Unfortunately, in religious pulpits, narratives related to mediation of marriage are less discussed, and in the Sharif book "Kafi" special chapters are dedicated to this matter, and the narrations state that the highest intercession and mediation is intercession in the matter of marriage and charity for the formation of a family.

In another part of his speech, Hojjat al-Islam Abu Tarabi pointed to the soft media war of the enemies against the position of women in the society and said: the enemy tried to destroy the high position of women, which was based on the axis of motherhood and wifehood in the first stage, and by instilling the idea that family roles hinder progress, they questioned the original Islamic models.

The secretary of the Jamiat and Family Headquarters of the Islamic Propaganda Organization continued: Making movies like "Under the Smoky Roof" is a clear example of the media's attempt to weaken the institution of the family and question childbearing.

In the end, he emphasized the importance of introducing successful models of marriage and the need to continue supporting activities and said: The concerns of girls and boys on the verge of marriage, such as continuing education or managing children, need guidance and support, and marriage mediators are obliged to maintain their relationship even after the marriage of the couple and to help the stability of their joint life with continuous advice and support.
