Yemen Battlefront Update: Ansarallah's Relentless Missile and Drone Strikes on Saudi Arabia / Yemeni Ground Battles Against Saudi-Backed Government Forces

As Saudi Arabia bombs civilian areas in Yemen, Ansarallah has imposed a full air blockade on Saudi Arabia alongside its naval blockade, placing the Saudi regime in an unprecedented bind.

At the same time as the crime of the Saudi regime in bombing the civilian areas of Yemen, Ansarullah has created a complete air blockade of Saudi Arabia in addition to the sea blockade and has put the Saudi regime in unprecedented trouble.

Jahan Mashrekh Service - The war in Yemen, which had entered a new phase since September 2026 with the rapid advance of Ansarullah (Houthis) forces on the west coast and the capture of strategic areas around Bab al-Mandab and Bandar Mokha, has reached one of its most intense stages in recent days since the collapse of the relative ceasefire in 2022.

In the last 48 hours (approximately October 10-12, 2026), the conflict in Yemen has continued fiercely, and at the same time, Ansarullah's missile and drone attacks against Saudi Arabia have intensified in an unprecedented manner.

Ansarullah's missile and drone attacks against Saudi Arabia

In this period of time, in response to the Saudi regime's brutal attacks on residential areas, Ansarullah has announced several missile and drone operations against Saudi airports and energy facilities:

October 10, Saturday: A missile attack on King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh killed at least 13 people (including Saudi and foreign nationals) and injured more than 300 people. This has been described as the deadliest attack on Saudi soil in more than a decade. After this attack, the airport activity was disrupted and flights were stopped.

October 11, Sunday: Ansarullah attacked the same airport again (Terminals 3 and 4), killing one person and injuring about 11 others. Ansarullah also carried out attacks on King Fahd Airport in Dammam and two Aramco facilities (including Shedgum and Tanajib) and announced that a fire had occurred in these facilities due to a direct hit. The military spokesman of Ansarullah (Yahya Saree) announced this operation in response to about 124 Saudi airstrikes in the previous 24 hours.

October 12, Monday: Saudi Arabia suspends flights to/from Riyadh airport until next Saturday. At the same time, there are reports of more missiles being launched towards Saudi cities. The authorities of the Saudi regime are investigating the failures of the air defense system, and it is said that Ansarullah uses the combination of drones to open the way for ballistic and cruise missiles. Ansarullah has declared Saudi airports as "scenes of operations" (except Mecca and Medina) and has declared that no flight has the right to enter Saudi airports without obtaining permission.

The Wall Street Journal reported that following the Yemeni armed forces' attack on Riyadh airport, airlines had to change the route of dozens of planes and more than 1,000 flights were canceled. According to this report, France, Canada and Germany have warned airlines about the dangers of flying over Saudi Arabia and large parts of its airspace. Also, reports indicate that the Saudi authorities have ordered the closure of several other airports following the increase in attacks.

Ground battles against Saudi-backed government forces

Operation "Fajr Yemen" by Saudi mercenaries (with Saudi air support) has been going on since early October to recapture areas controlled by Ansarullah (especially around Bab al-Mandab and Mokha). The Saudi mercenary forces are trying to induce victory and advance and heavy casualties to Ansarullah by using unreal images and videos, but the investigations show that the Yemeni fighters have complete control over the liberated areas and the failure of the government mercenaries to recapture the areas.

At the same time, around Taiz (Yemen's third largest city): Ansarullah has succeeded in completely besieging the city and cutting off the supply routes to Aden. Reports indicate an advance in the hills and strategic areas south and west of Taiz, including efforts to control parts of the mountain passes and areas such as al-Mawsat, Sama and al-Salu.

Sources related to Sana'a indicated that the forces of Ansarullah have captured Al-Masrah district and considered it to be the last important residential area on the way to Taiz. There were also reports of the expulsion of Saudi-affiliated forces from this administration. Some sources reported intense night clashes that ended in Ansarullah's control over Al-Masrah region. This progress is evaluated in the context of Ansarullah's wider efforts to completely surround the city of Taiz and cut off its supply lines.

Further, field sources have reported that the siege on the entrances of Taiz has tightened, although the Saudi mercenary forces are in control of the center of Taiz city and claim to have recaptured some hills and areas (such as Al-Masrakh). But the field evidence indicates that the Yemeni fighters continue to advance towards the center of Taiz city and liberate this city. Clashes have been intense and extensive casualties have been inflicted on the forces supported by the Saudi regime.

In the western coast and Bab al-Mandab, Ansarullah repelled the advance efforts of the government forces (Saudi mercenaries) from the direction of Lahj towards Bab al-Mandab and maintained control over Bab al-Mandab, Mayon Island (Preem) and parts of the western coast. Reports of the withdrawal or escape of some Amalek forces from positions in Jabal al-Sabiha have also been published.

In other fronts, such as Marib, clashes continue, but the main advance of Ansarullah has continued to advance in the last 48 hours.

If America is involved in the attack on Yemen, we will target its interests

A member of the political office of Ansarullah warned the US government about the consequences of any cooperation with Saudi Arabia in aggression against Yemen. Ali al-Bakhiti, a member of the Yemeni Ansarullah political bureau, warned that if the US is involved in the attack on Yemen, our response (Yemen's armed forces) will target the country's interests in the region and wherever we can reach.

It is noted that the terrorist and criminal Trump expressed his anger at the successful and retaliatory operations of the Yemeni armed forces by fully supporting the aggressor Saudi regime and its aggression against the Yemeni nation.

The American Embassy in Saudi Arabia issued a warning message

The US embassy in Saudi Arabia extended its security alert for the third day in a row on Monday. These warnings were issued on October 10, 11 and 12, and the last one refers to the recent attacks on King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh and Sunday's attack on King Fahd International Airport in Dammam.

According to the embassy, US government employees need a special permit to use Riyadh, Jeddah and Dammam airports. This institution also asked American citizens to observe "maximum caution" when using Saudi Arabia's main airports; Because there is a possibility of cancellation of flights, closure of airspace and other disruptions in travel.

The American Embassy advised travelers to check the status of their flights directly from airlines and airports, and if necessary, consider using private cars, trains, and buses as an alternative to air travel.
