Yemen Attacks Aramco Refinery and King Khalid Airport in Riyadh

A spokesman for Yemen's armed forces announced a large-scale missile and drone attack on the Aramco oil refinery and King Khalid Airport in Riyadh, as well as Aramco facilities in Dhahran in Saudi Arabia's Eastern Province.

According to Ambassador Arjan, Yahya Saree, the spokesman of the Yemeni armed forces, announced in a statement: In response to the cowardly attacks of Saudi Arabia on Sana'a and other free provinces and within the framework of the deterrence operation against the aggressor Saudi enemy, who during this period carried out 2,218 air and missile attacks against our country and nation and committed dozens of crimes, and also in line with the implementation of the warnings we gave to the criminal enemy of Saudi Arabia, the Yemeni armed forces in a unique military operation, the "Aramco" company in Dhahran Located in Eastern Province, it targeted Khaled Airport and Aramco Refinery in Riyadh.

According to Ambassador Arjan, he said that this operation was carried out with a large number of ballistic and cruise missiles and a number of drones, and by the grace of God, the operation was accurate and led to destruction and fire in the target areas.

Yahya Saree pointed out: The operations of the Yemeni armed forces deep in Saudi Arabia and against the airports of the Saudi enemy and its oil facilities will continue in the coming days, and the consequences of this operation will be dire.

He warned all international airlines, Saudi citizens and employees present at these airports and companies to leave these areas immediately because they have become legitimate targets for the Yemeni armed forces.

The spokesman of the Yemeni armed forces said that until the end of the aggression and the end of the blockade of Yemen, they will continue the equation of "siege versus siege and tension versus tension and targeting gatherings affiliated with the Saudi enemy."

On Wednesday morning, Saudi Arabia's urban defense announced the issuance of a danger warning in the cities of Riyadh and Al-Kharj, and the Al-Arabiya network also reported that the sound of defense missiles was heard in the city following air threats in the sky of Riyadh. Some news sources also reported Yemeni missile and drone attacks on the Aramco-affiliated oil company in the Saudi city of Jeddah.

In 2015, after the military attack on Yemen, Saudi Arabia imposed a land, air and sea blockade on this impoverished country, and the United States joined this blockade in October 2016, and then claimed to have withdrawn from this decision.

On July 14, 1405, Sana'a decided to defeat this siege and subsequently, Saudi Arabia bombarded Sana'a airport, which was met with a decisive response by the armed forces, and by carrying out operations, by pushing back the Yemeni militias supported by Saudi Arabia, they succeeded in achieving great victories, including the control of the port and historical city of "Al Mokha" and the important, strategic and coastal area of Kahabob in the south of this country.

This greatly increased the Yemeni army's control over the strategic "Bab al-Mandab" strait as one of the most important shipping routes in the world. Yemeni army forces also recaptured a number of strategic islands from Saudi-backed militias, which completes the control of this waterway.
