OnePlus 16 has been officially launched in China with a set of impressive features and a special focus on gaming, including a 165Hz display and a powerful 200MP camera.

By introducing the OnePlus 16 flagship smartphone, OnePlus took an important step in the competitive mobile phone market. This new product is specially designed for video game enthusiasts with its exclusive and powerful chipsets. OnePlus 16 defines new standards by providing an experience beyond expectations in the field of gaming.

Technical specifications and stunning performance of OnePlus 16

Using the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 processor, the OnePlus 16 smartphone brings a unique experience with P4 (for display), G3 (for electronic sports) and T3 (for touch) chips. This powerful combination is specifically designed to improve performance in games. The G3 chip reduces the network delay and the P4 chip provides the possibility of playing games with a frame rate of 185 fps. OnePlus 16 is also the first phone to offer a global refresh rate of 165Hz.

OnePlus 16 uses a 6.78-inch custom BOE X4 display that offers 100% coverage of the DCI-P3 color space and a pixel density of 450 pixels per inch. The display is capable of reaching 185Hz, but according to OnePlus officials, 165Hz is the highest sustainable refresh rate with current technologies. The maximum brightness of the display of this phone reaches 2,000 nits, which will be enough to see under direct sunlight.

For power supply, this device is equipped with a powerful 9,000mAh battery that supports 100W SuperVOOC wired charging, 50W wireless charging and 27W wired reverse charging for accessories. Bypass charging is also built in to reduce heat generation during gaming.

In the imaging department, OnePlus 16 is introduced with a main 200-megapixel ISOCELL HPE sensor with a size of 1.4 inches, a 50-megapixel selfie camera, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a 50-megapixel periscopic telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom and 6x lossless zoom. This phone comes in three colors Tomorrow Starlight (with LED array), Martian Red and Dark Forest and will be sold in China from October 13 (October 21).
