Imam Juma Karaj: Bipolarization of society is a repetition of the Samaritan model

Karaj - Ayatollah Hosseini Hamdani warned about the polarization of the society and said: spreading discord by abusing holy places and the media is repeating the Samaritan pattern and laying the groundwork for the enemy's exploitation of internal divisions.

According to Mehr reporter, Ayatollah Seyyed Mohammad Mahdi Hosseini Hamdani, the representative of the religious jurist in Alborz province and the Friday imam of Karaj city, warned against the consequences of polarization and discord in the society, saying: Using the holy things and the media as a tool to create a social divide can divert the society from the main path and give the enemy an opportunity.

Referring to the Samaritan story in the Holy Quran, he considered the creation of division and the exploitation of religious and social weaknesses to be the underlying factors of deviance in the society.

He stated that a Samaritan used the existing conditions to mislead the Children of Israel in the absence of Prophet Moses (pbuh), and stated: In today's world, deviant currents can influence public opinion and create grounds for discord by using media tools, virtual space, wealth and sacred concepts.

Imam Juma Karaj emphasized: The religious appearance of individuals and movements alone is not a criterion for recognizing the correctness of their path, and in order to deal with deviation, the power of discernment, rationality and religious knowledge of the society must be strengthened.

The necessity of taking care of controversial positions

The representative of the Supreme Leader in Alborz province, criticizing the behavior and comments that lead to the escalation of internal disputes, emphasized the need to pay attention to the time conditions and the consequences of the position plan.

He added: "In situations where the enemy is facing pressures and problems, we should not strengthen his position with behaviors that weaken internal cohesion." Even a word that seems correct on the surface, if it leads to conflict and internal conflict in sensitive situations, it should be reviewed in terms of the time and manner of expression.

Referring to some slogans and placards raised in the gatherings, Ayatollah Hosseini Hamedani noted: Confronting the enemy should not lead to actions that result in differences between the people and provide a basis for the enemy's exploitation.

Emphasizing that creating a gap in the society can be reminiscent of Samaritan deviance, he called for vigilance against actions that, in the name of defending values, lead to a result contrary to social cohesion.

Supporting Yemen's resistance against the Zionist regime

In another part of his speech, Imam Juma Karaj addressed the developments in Yemen and, while supporting the fighters of this country against the Zionist regime, prayed for their victory.

He also criticized some positions that he believes can reduce the pressure on the enemy and make it possible to get out of difficult situations.

Ayatollah Hosseini Hamadani, referring to America's efforts to present a specific narrative of historical and civilizational developments, emphasized the necessity of a reasoned confrontation with these space constructions.

He considered it necessary to explain Iran's civilizational capacities and achievements, especially in the period after the introduction of Islam, and postponed the discussion on this issue to another opportunity.

In another part of the sermons, the representative of the religious leader in Alborz province mentioned the reports about the discovery of compulsory hijab in the Republic of Azerbaijan and demanded to investigate the cultural, social and political dimensions and contexts of this issue.

He also raised questions about the compatibility of such an approach with the responsibility of hosting the Islamic Cooperation Summit.

At the end, Ayatollah Hosseini Hamadani, referring to occasions such as parent-teacher bonding, physical education and sports day, Paralympics day, and the issue of genocide of Palestinian women and children, omitted to address these issues in detail due to time constraints.
