Shamsaei: We Will Not Accept Any Recommendations

The futsal national team head coach said: We will not accept any recommendation regarding a player's attendance at the training camp.

According to Ambassador Arjan and quoted by the website of the Football Federation, Vahid Shamsaei addressed the players at the beginning of the October camp of the national futsal team: "We start our work with the help of God." Our goal and vision is long-term and I am happy to be together again. We faced some problems to hold preparatory matches and we lost some FIFA opportunities. The conditions of the country are special, but Iran's futsal has always gained respect, credit and honor for the country even in the most difficult conditions. We will not give up and we will definitely find a solution.

The head coach of the national team emphasized the committed presence of the players in the trainings and added: "If you want the national team shirt, fight to get and keep it." In training, show that you are worthy of this invitation. This camp is an opportunity to prove your abilities. My colleagues and I will never invite or keep any player by recommendation, it is your quality that shows you deserve to wear the national team shirt.

Vahid Shamsaei and the members of the national team's technical staff invited 21 players to participate in this camp after observing the matches of the Premier League until the end of the eighth week and traveling to different cities. The technical staff has invited a number of young players to the national team camp for the first time.
