Trump says he would like to see Putin at the G20 summit in America

The US president noted that he did not know whether Vladimir Putin would come or not

Washington, October 16. /TASS/. US President Donald Trump has said he would "certainly" like to see his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin at the Group of 20 summit in Miami, Florida, but did not know if he would come.

"I don't know if he will come or not. I would definitely like him to come," he told reporters.

Russia's Group of 20 Sherpa and Head of the Presidential Experts' Office, Denis Agafonov, said in a news conference at the Russian Embassy in Washington that the decision on the presence of Russian President Vladimir Putin at the Group of 20 meeting in December in Miami will be made close to the date of the event.
