Mourinho: Vinicius stayed at Real because of his loyalty

The head coach of Real Madrid explained the situation of his team before the game against Sevilla in the La Liga competition.

According to ambassador Arjan; Jose Mourinho, whose students have to play tomorrow night (Sunday) in the ninth week of the Spanish La Liga at the home of Sevilla, attended the press conference before this match and said about his team's condition: The team is tired, but not for tomorrow's game. We have options to make replacements if needed. Sevilla is a great team. They are always competitive away from home. Luis García (Sevilla coach) is doing a great job and it will be a difficult game, but we want to win.

According to Ambassador Arjan, he also responded to the statements made yesterday by Javier Tebas, the head of the Spanish La Liga organization, who criticized the way the Real Madrid TV channel dealt with refereeing decisions and compared them to the Nazis. He said: Please don't talk about this. I do not want to say anything about this. There are really limitations in this field. Given the prestige of the league abroad and the fact that Spain is the world champion, it's better to try to keep it here than to let it spread beyond our borders.

The Portuguese head coach of Real Madrid also mentioned about his Turkish midfielder: Arda Güler is really diligent and works hard. You seem to have a hard time giving someone the credit and praise they deserve for hard work. It's as if there is always someone to blame for negative events, but positive events are simply chalked up to luck. Arda is a very talented player and fortunately, he has not yet reached the limit of his abilities and has room for improvement. Güler has the necessary qualities to play in different positions. I am very satisfied with him.

When faced with the question, "What do you want from a midfielder?", Mr. Khas said: To be a real midfielder. A player who only defends is a limited midfielder, and a player who only attacks is better off not playing in the middle of the field at all. The game in this post is very difficult. A midfielder should have a wide range of characteristics. Being a good midfielder is not an easy task.

Mourinho said about his Brazilian star, who did not perform well in Wednesday's match against Rome in the European Champions League, and during his substitution, he protested and expressed his displeasure about this issue. They were constantly attacking him. As a head coach, it was very challenging for me to make substitutions. In the second half, Roma changed their approach, but what really bothered me was how they scored their second goal; The goal was scored at a moment when the game was balanced and we were not facing any particular problem.

He continued his speech as follows: Vinicius must work hard. "I'm not making any promises, but I expect him to be in the starting line-up against Leipzig on Wednesday." To be honest, I'm happy about Vinny's four-game ban because I thought there might be an ulterior motive to add another game or two to his ban. Vinicius is a great guy and easy to get along with. I talk to him privately for a few minutes every day.

The head coach of the Galaxy stated: "I have great respect and value for Vinicius, because he always manages to pull himself out of the water with a smile on his face and survive." If I were him, I probably wouldn't be here anymore; I would have tried to go to a country where they would respect me, but he stayed because of his loyalty to Real Madrid and his love for this club. He believes that things can get better and he still has that smile on his face. Nothing and no one can take that smile away from him.

In the end, Jose Mourinho said about the possibility of recruiting a new player or players in the upcoming winter transfer window: I have no request to recruit a new player and I am satisfied with the team I have. Players are improving, especially if we have enough time and rest. My job is to help them grow and develop. I am not one of those coaches who are constantly looking for players. I prefer to have a small composition (referring to the number of players). If the board has an offer, we will consider it, but I will not take the initiative to ask for a player myself. I don't want a new player.

Real Madrid, which is currently in fourth place in the La Liga standings with 18 points and is 6 points behind Barcelona, will face Sevilla tomorrow (Sunday - Tehran time) at 22:30 at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium.
