Officials Must Not Neglect Raising Their Children

Shiraz – The custodian of the Seyyed Alaeddin Hossein (AS) Shrine stressed the importance of moral upbringing in the armed forces, saying officials' neglect of their families contributes to social harms, and called for greater attention to raising children.

Shiraz- Sayyed Alauddin Hussain (AS) shrine, emphasizing the importance of moral education in the army, considered the neglect of the family by some officials as the cause of social damage and emphasized the need to pay attention to the education of children.

According to the report of the Ambassador of Arjan Hojat-ul-Islam Wal-Muslimin Seyyed Mohiuddin Taheri Shirazi, on Thursday morning, at the meeting to commemorate the anniversary of the establishment of the Ideological and Political Organization of the Islamic Republic of Iran Army in Shiraz, referring to the strategic position of this institution, he said: The stability of the army in difficult fields is not only the result of military training, but this strength originates from faith, morals, governorship and ideological training.

He stated that during the past four decades, the army has always moved in the direction of defending the values of the Islamic Revolution and ensuring the security of the nation, and added: The ideological and political organization of the army is the pillar of the nation's trust and the axis of training faithful, visionary and responsible forces.

Referring to some social harms, the caretaker of the holy shrine of Seyyed Alauddin Hossein (a.s.) warned against the lack of attention of the officials and managers to the family and said: One of the issues that is sometimes forgotten in the path of responsibilities is the attention to the family. Some officials get so involved in work and management that they neglect their main role in raising children and accompanying the family.

Describing the consequences of this neglect, Taheri said: neglecting the family, in addition to creating emotional gaps in the next generations, can become the basis for children's deviation from the right path and the formation of the spirit of indebtedness in the new generation.

He continued: The family is the main unit that supports and strengthens a person's spirit, and if this institution is eroded, the damage caused by it will spread to the entire society.

Taking care of the family is a divine responsibility

Referring to the teachings of the Holy Quran, the secretary of the Shiraz Clergy Society emphasized the need for people to pay attention to their responsibility towards the family and said: The Holy Quran emphasizes the responsibility of a person towards himself and his family, and this shows that paying attention to the family is one of the basic duties of every person.

He added: If a person cannot be a good role model in the family environment, his words and advice cannot have the necessary impact in wider social fields.

Taheri Shirazi, referring to the life of the martyred leader, said: Despite his heavy administrative duties, he always took time to be with his family and even spend a few moments with his children and grandchildren, and this behavior is a model for management and life.

He pointed out that this tradition shows that paying attention to the family is not only an obstacle to fulfilling great responsibilities, but it is also a part of the divine duties of man.

The role of religious clerics in strengthening the morale of the armed forces

In another part of his speech, the Custodian of the Holy Shrine, Seyyed Alauddin Hussain (AS), emphasized the role of religious clerics in promoting the internal cohesion of the armed forces and said: Religious clerics are intimate companions and spiritual guides of the armed forces, and their presence alongside the warriors helps to strengthen the spirit of jihad and create peace of mind.

Emphasizing the necessity of preparing the young forces to face complex threats, he added: Our task is to prepare the young forces to deal with complex threats and combined wars by focusing on moral education and improving insight.
