In recent weeks, the daily production cost of an ordinary film with two or three ordinary actors has reached 1 billion tomans. If the film is shot in a minimum of, say, 40 days, the production cost will be 40 billion tomans, and this is for a film with ordinary actors, not expensive ones.
In recent weeks, the cost of producing a normal movie with two or three normal actors has reached 1 billion tomans per day, and if the film is assembled in the shortest time, for example, 40 days, the cost of making a movie will be 40 billion tomans. Of course, a movie with ordinary and not expensive actors.
According to the report of Ambassador Arjan Saeed Khani, cinema producer, in a conversation with Amir Abbas Sabbagh on Chirag radio program, said the above: As a private sector producer, I can no longer make independent films, so I will go to Bahram Radan and we will work together as a co-producer. It is not economical and there is no proportion between supply and production.
He continued: Look at the statistics, in 1403 cinemas had 35 million people and in 1404 this number reached 25 million and this year I don't think this number will reach 12 to 13 million people!
The director of Khana Film Broadcasting Institute added: The production crisis in cinema is very serious. Concerts-shows and platforms have practically narrowed the field of cinema and taken its breath away. People are also attracted to platforms and practically no investment is willing to invest in movies. The production of platforms, especially reality shows, has caused the distance between actors in different categories to be very close, for example, a 3rd grade actor today has a salary of 2 to 3 billion, and a 1st grade actor is about 4 to 5 billion. The importance of cinema has almost disappeared among many actors and the party prefers to go to a reality show instead of working in the medium of cinema and talk for an hour or two and get 1 billion. Currently, two or three prominent actors and the first among men receive a maximum salary of 10 to 12 billion, and among women, this number reaches 7 to 8 billion.
In the end, Khani announced that currently 2.3 million regular audiences have kept the cinema lights on and said: Cinematic genres should leave the atmosphere of the 60s and 70s and update themselves, instead of being involved in the same repeated fights, we need agility and maturity to get out of this situation. We must lower the cost of production in any way we can. For example, we have to negotiate with platforms...
He emphasized: "For a movie like Woman and Child, which we had counted on a lot, we sold 40 billion in online screening, 30% of which was for the platform, and we got a total of 28 billion, which is not a significant number compared to the production costs." Our expenses have increased, but our income has not grown accordingly.
