Sardar Sharif: Enemy Failed to Achieve Its Goals in War with Iran

Mashhad – Head of the Center for Documents and Research of the Holy Defense and Sepah's Struggles said that the enemy tried to halt the Islamic Revolution by employing various capacities, but failed to achieve its goals due to the resistance of the Iranian nation.

According to Ambassador Arjan Sardar Ramzan Sharif, in the unveiling ceremony of books, atlases and works related to the battles of Khorasan during the Holy Defense period, which was held in Mashhad, referring to the connection between the experiences of the Holy Defense and the current conditions of the country, he said: The Islamic Revolution set a new path before the nations and brought dignity and pride to the Iranian nation.

The head of the Center for Documents and Research of Sacred Defense and IRGC Mujahideen added: During the past 47 years, the enemies used various tools, from separatist groups and opposing currents of the Islamic Republic to regional and international capacities, to stop the Islamic Revolution, but they did not succeed.

The enemy entered the field with all capacity

Referring to the direct confrontation between America and the Zionist regime with Iran, he stated: When their enemies entered the field, they showed that the previous means were no longer sufficient to advance their goals. With a complex design, they sought to hit the country's commanders and officials, but they failed to achieve their goals.

Referring to the recent military developments, Sharif claimed that a major part of the capacity of American bases in the region has been damaged or disabled and added: According to military experience, if the attacker does not achieve his goals in the initial stage of the war, he will face more difficulties in the continuation and erosion of the conflict.

Emphasis on the role of leadership and armed forces

Emphasizing the role of the leadership of the Revolutionary Leader in managing war conditions, the head of the Center for Documents and Research of Sacred Defense and Mujahideen said: The armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran have responded to enemy attacks, and this readiness and capability has challenged the other side's calculations.

Referring to the words of martyr Hajj Qassem Soleimani about the consequences of the war for its initiators, he said: Today we can see a part of the realization of this prediction in the developments of the region.

Sharif also pointed to the experience of confronting the ISIS terrorist group and stated: Martyr Soleimani believed that the reason for the success of the resistance forces was the performance of duties and obligations with the authority's permission, and he believed that as long as this view prevails, victory will come from the front that enters the field to fulfill its duties.

The works of holy defense; A legacy for future generations

Referring to the works unveiled in this ceremony, the head of the Center for Research and Documents of the Holy Defense and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps said: The books and documents of the Holy Defense are full of stories about love for the Ahl al-Bayt (AS), martyrdom, the people of Iran, and the defense of the homeland, and this legacy must be passed on to the present and future generations.

Recalling the role of the warriors and commanders of the Khorasan armies during the holy defense period, he added: the commanders and warriors of these units stood against the enemy, and their experiences today can be a guide for the new generation of the armed forces.

Saying that the culture and spirit of the Iranian people is one of the important factors of the country's stability, Sharif pointed out: the Iranian people accompany each other in difficult situations and preserve their religious, national and human culture; Therefore, it is necessary for the enemies to know the Iranian society correctly.

The head of the Holy Defense Documents and Research Center and the efforts of the IRGC expressed hope: with the efforts of researchers, writers, scholars and university professors, the valuable messages and experiences of the Holy Defense will be transmitted to future generations in the form of written documents and works. Because the honor and pride of the country depends on the preservation and transmission of this culture.
