MBC Group and CJ ENM Launch Dedicated K-Content Space on MBC Shahid Streamer at MIPCOM

Korean premium content platform Tving is getting an exclusive space on broadcaster MBC Shahid in the Middle East and North Africa.

The new space was announced by Riyadh-based parent MBC Group and Korean premium content leader CJ ENM, a partner of Tving, in an expansion of their long-term strategic partnership.

Under the deal, the Tving brand space will provide audiences across MENA with premium K content from CJ ENM, Tving and other leading South Korean production studios.

More than 13 new titles are planned for release during 2026, alongside more than 20 titles from CJ ENM's existing content library, with the volume of available titles increasing during this collaboration. The lineup will include the romantic comedy My Bias, My Boss, as well as titles such as The Legend of Kitchen Soldier, Filing for Love, The Judge Returns and Our Universe. Watch on Deadline

Arabic dubbing and subtitles will be available for selected content, while all new titles will be available for simulcast on MBC Shahid, allowing audiences across MENA to watch the latest Korean series alongside their Korean release.

The agreement also extends access to K content across MBC's line-up of TV channels.As part of this partnership, CJ ENM titles will also be introduced exclusively on MBC4, for a specific period, with the schedule to be announced in due course.

Tariq Alibrahim, Director of MBC1, MBC DRAMA, and MBC SHAHID Content, and Sebastian Kim, Vice President and Head of Content Distribution Business Unit of CJ ENM, officially signed the agreement during MIPCOM in Cannes.
