Kerman- Kerman governor said: Nameless permits are being prepared in the field of tourism in Kerman province with the aim of facilitating the investment process and providing them to domestic investors.

According to Mehr reporter, Mohammad Ali Talebi, before noon on Friday, in the first specialized conference of hotel and related industries, referring to the placement of tourism development in the main axes of Kerman province's plans for the past two years, stated: a program titled "The smile of the world to Kerman 1405" was formulated for the development of tourism, which did not reach the implementation stage due to the start of the war, but we tried to take the necessary measures to develop the tourism infrastructure of the province under the existing conditions.

Referring to the province's various tourism capacities, he said: the number of world-recorded works, diverse climate, historical heritage, historical textures of Kerman and other cities, buildings such as Bam Citadel, Lut Desert, and world-class gardens such as Biramabad Garden, Prince Mahan Garden, and Fatehabad Garden are part of Kerman's tourism capacities.

Talebi added: Pilgrimage tourism centered on martyr Haj Qasim Soleimani, desert tourism, food tourism and festivals related to agricultural products and people's culture are also among the other capacities of the province, and in this field, competition between cities has been formed to hold different festivals.

He considered the existence of five active airports in the province as well as the presence of large economic enterprises as other advantages of the province and stated: these capacities can help the development of tourism and the hotel industry of the province and provide a good basis for the expansion of investment in this sector.

Referring to the lack of accommodation infrastructure in the province, the governor of Kerman said: the limited capacity of hotels and the lack of five-star hotels in some cities have prevented Kerman from hosting sports competitions and events in some cases.

He added: the lack of accommodation centers also affects the length of stay of tourists in the province and the development of these infrastructures is necessary to strengthen tourism and increase the hosting capacity of Kerman.

Pointing to the ongoing programs for the development of tourism, Talebi said: Zones for global registration and the creation of special tourism areas are being prepared. Also, for the development of desert tourism, the construction of 12 desert climbing camps has been established, which covers areas from around Kerman to the depths of the desert.

He continued: Anonymous licenses in the field of tourism are also being prepared with the aim of facilitating the investment process and providing them to domestic investors.

Referring to the first position of the province in attracting foreign investments last year, the governor of Kerman added: a part of these investments will be allocated to the field of tourism.

The high official of the government in Kerman province also announced the participation of economic enterprises in the restoration of historical buildings and their exploitation as accommodation centers.

Emphasizing the improvement of investment security indicators in the province, Talebi said: Kerman now has the second rank in terms of investment security and the first rank in attracting foreign investment in the country, and it is also among the top provinces in attracting domestic investment.

Referring to the past security challenges in the tourism development of the province, he added: Kerman was one of the main destinations of foreign tourists in the country at one point, but security issues were part of the challenges that affected this process.

According to him, the province's security indicators have improved in recent years and the current situation has moved away from the atmosphere of the past two to three decades that damaged Kerman's tourism economy.

By inviting powerful investment groups to be present in the province, the governor of Kerman emphasized the necessity of developing hotels, accommodation centers and implementing tourism projects in different regions of Kerman.

He added: There are various proposals that suit the capacities and capabilities of the province, as well as the interests and priorities of investors for investing in the field of tourism.

Talebi expressed hope that the holding of this conference and the interaction and like-mindedness of activists in this area will provide the basis for practical measures to increase the participation of large companies and economic holdings in the development of residential centers in Kerman province.
