Modern Warfare 4 release time and early access explained

💀 If you pre-order Modern Warfare 4 digitally, you'll get access to the campaign starting October 16th and the DMZ on October 20th.
💀 Full release on October 23rd at midnight local time.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 is coming soon, but it also has early access to many of its modes, including the campaign and the revival of the DMZ mining shooter.
For early access to the campaign and DMZ, you must pre-order the game digitally, otherwise, you can play on October 23rd. Activision hasn't announced an exact time for the early access campaign to open on the 16th, but the PC preload is currently live.
There is also no official information on when the DMZ Early Access will be released on October 20th. However, some sources are predicting that it will be 10am PT (1pm ET/6pm BST). What we do know is that:
Modern Warfare 4 will be released on October 23 at midnight local time, wherever you are.
You need 115GB of storage space for the game and you can find the official system requirements to run it on the Steam page.
As we get closer to DMZ unlocking and full release, I'll update this article with official announcements of when Activision will drop.
