The Big Absentee from the Preliminary Round of the 2027 Volleyball Nations League

Yuki Ishikawa has said he has no intention of withdrawing from the Japan national team next year, even though Japan's qualification for the Los Angeles Olympics has been confirmed.

According to "Varesh Se", the Japanese national volleyball team this year managed to get a quota to participate in the Los Angeles Olympic Games to pass the next two years with more peace of mind.

Yuki Ishikawa, captain of this team, said before the Los Angeles Olympic Games about his future in the Japanese national team: "Although we have already secured our promotion to the Los Angeles Olympic Games, I basically do not intend to refuse to play for the national team next year in any way.

It's better to be able to rest for a week or two after the club season. So, like in previous years, I probably won't just participate in the early stages of the Nations League, but other than that, I want to continue that way.

"If Laurent Tillier chooses me for the national team in the 2027 season, I will gladly compete, as always."
