Belgium's Foreign Minister Stresses: Israel Must Not Be Allowed to Continuously Violate International Law

The Belgian Foreign Minister stated: Israel should not have the possibility to continuously violate international laws.

According to Ambassador Arjan's report, Belgian Foreign Minister Maxim Provo said in a conversation with Al Jazeera: "We do not want to punish the people of Israel, but we condemn the behavior of a group that has violated international laws." If Europe wants to function as a geopolitical power, it must consolidate its position.

The Belgian Foreign Minister further added: "In order to influence Israel in the field, we must act within the framework of a single European position." Israel should not be able to continue to violate international law.

"Maxim Provo" then added: the escalation of tension by Netanyahu's cabinet against some European governments will lead neither to a quick solution nor to a lasting solution.
