Abgineh House Lays Groundwork for Traditional Arts Training and Development Through Specialized Courses

Tehran Province's Deputy for Handicrafts, stressing the importance of education, creativity, and the transfer of artistic knowledge to new generations, said: Holding specialized courses in traditional arts and handicrafts plays an effective role in preserving the country's artistic heritage, enhancing students' skills, and creating new opportunities for employment and entrepreneurship.

Emphasizing the importance of education, creativity and passing on artistic knowledge to new generations, the Deputy Minister of Handicrafts of Tehran Province said: holding specialized courses in the field of traditional arts and crafts plays an effective role in preserving the artistic heritage of the country, improving students' skills and creating new opportunities for employment and entrepreneurship.

According to Aria's Heritage Reporter, Abgineh House has provided the opportunity to learn and acquire skills in various fields related to mirrors, glass and decorative arts by introducing a series of educational and artistic courses.

These courses include painting on the mirror, traditional design, painting behind the glass, stained glass, stained glass on the mirror, product design and mirror work, each of which, relying on the capacities of traditional arts and combining it with creativity and contemporary design, can be the basis for the production of valuable and practical works of art.

Referring to the vast capacities of handicrafts in creating employment and developing artistic businesses, the Deputy Handicrafts Director of the General Directorate of Cultural Heritage of Tehran Province stated: Basic and specialized training, along with supporting artists and introducing high-quality products, can help to develop the handicrafts market and increase the presence of these products in people's daily lives.

Saeed Shahrokhi added: The link between education, innovation and production is one of the effective paths for the dynamism of handicrafts, and educational centers and art workshops can play an important role in training capable artists and developing this field by identifying talents and developing specialized skills.

He said: Developing skills training, supporting art workshops, and introducing the capacities of various handicraft disciplines are among the measures that can help preserve the authenticity of Iranian arts, boost production, and strengthen the position of handicrafts in the country's cultural economy.
