Plan to Reduce Social Harms Launched in Tehran's Fruit and Vegetable Markets
Deputy for Social Services at the Welfare, Services and Social Participation Organization of Tehran Municipality said an operational plan has been launched within the Tehran Fruit and Vegetable Markets Organization to identify and organize vulnerable and at-risk individuals, with the aim of improving mental health and reducing social problems.
The Deputy of Social Services of Tehran Municipality's Welfare, Services and Social Partnerships Organization said: In order to improve mental health and reduce social problems, an operational plan has been started within the scope of Tehran Fruit and Vegetable Fields Organization with the aim of identifying and organizing injured and vulnerable people.
According to Ambassador Arjan, Youssef Moghadami stated: Due to the high traffic volume of cargo vehicles from all over the country and the extent of the fruit and vegetable fields organization, meetings were held with the relevant managers to formulate a plan to reduce social harm.
He added: This plan has been continuously implemented since yesterday with the cooperation of social service teams and emergency patrol units. The main focus of this operation is on identifying and providing support services to vulnerable groups, including homeless people and drug addicts, with the aim of returning them to the cycle of health and social life.
The vice president of social services of the organization continued: The purpose of implementing this project is to identify and organize the injured and vulnerable people, which will eventually lead to the improvement of the social and biological conditions in this high-traffic area.
