According to the information published by Iran's standard system, this temporary approval is a proof of the car's compliance with the strict standards of the GCC (Persian Gulf countries). However, the release of this car in the domestic market faces serious obstacles such as legal uncertainties and high import tariffs for luxury cars over 2500 cc, which can be the biggest challenge ahead.

Rasa Motor Middle East Company has received a temporary type approval certificate for the 2026 Land Rover Range Rover Sport luxury SUV. This approval is issued based on GCC standards and is valid until January 1, 1405 (12/22/2026). According to official documents, this car is classified as M1 and M.P.V type, and its VIN format confirms the authenticity of production in Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) UK. However, legal obstacles and heavy tariffs for luxury cars with an engine volume above 2500 cc are still the biggest challenges facing the import of Range Rover Sport 2026 to Iran.
