Interview with Ali Chini on Esteghlal's special situation / Esteghlal is dangerous even without Asani!

The Esteghlal veteran believes that Bakhtiarizadeh's players show a dangerous face in the Asian competitions.

According to "Verzeh Se", in the framework of the second week of the Asian Elite League, Esteghlal will be the guest of Al Gharafa of Qatar. The Blues of Tehran, who won the first game with three goals against Al-Sad, are looking for points tonight while Al-Gharafa has the conditions to host. On the other hand, the condition of Yasir Asahi to participate in this game is not exactly known.

Ali Chaini, a veteran of Esteghlal Club, in an interview with our reporter, first said about hosting this team in Iraq:

"The current conditions cannot be hidden. However, the most important principle is the absence of Azadi Stadium. It is a big managerial weakness that the reconstruction of this stadium took years and now our big teams, which have the support of passionate fans, have to play in neighboring countries. This issue is detrimental to our football."

Chaini added further: "Why we can't host in other cities of Iran, maybe it comes back to other issues and of course the pressures behind the scenes in AFC, which made rival teams refuse to travel to Iran. "Unfortunately, we in AFC do not have the necessary power to be able to maintain the right to host in cities like Tabriz or Isfahan, Shiraz and Ahvaz."

The veteran of Esteghlal said about the possible absence of Yasser Asani in tonight's game: "Esteghlal has been known as the giant of Asia for a long time. Yaser Asani has been a very influential player in the last two seasons and has been the only one to solve problems many times, but the role of other players should not be ignored. This year, young players like Qolizadeh, Razzakinia, Kushki and Saharkhaizan have helped the team a lot with their running and good performance. However, we have to accept that an easy absence in tonight's game will definitely be noticeable due to his high technical abilities."

At the same time, Chaini emphasized: "The return of Masharipov and the presence of Mehran Ahmadi and Mohammad Hossein Eslami is very good news for us. I hope that with the hard work and strength of these people and other players, the vacancy will be filled easily."

In the end, he said about predicting the result of tonight's match with Qatar's Al Gharafa: "Al Gharafa is a strong team and they have definitely made a detailed analysis after watching our game." It is difficult to play in the opponent's field, but Esteghlal always shows a different version of itself in Asia. "I hope that with the efforts of the players and the implementation of Sohrab Bakhtiarizadeh's tactical thinking, we will be able to score at least one point and, if possible, all three points in the game."
