Watch the New Shudder Horror The Cycle Clip | IGN Fall Fan Fest 2026

Watch the official IGN Fan Fest 2026 clip for Shudder's horror film The Cycle, starring Deborah Ann Woll as a forensic medical anthropologist reopening a cold case.

Today at IGN Fall Fan Fest 2026, a clip from Shudder's new horror crime thriller The Cycle debuted, complete with an introduction from the film's star (and the voice of Faye in the upcoming God of War Laufey), Deborah Ann Voll.

Well stars as Meg, a forensic anthropologist whose job changes when her father's body is found at a crime scene. Even more troubling, it's one of the least weird things in the film, and without missing a beat, everything goes from police procedural to downright supernatural specter in the best possible way. Horror writer Stephen King even took to X to shout it out.

"There's a movie on Shudder in October called THE CYCLE. I don't usually produce horror movies (unless they're mine, hahahahaha), but this one is special. Put it on your calendar."

It's written and directed by Jordan Downey, and you may have seen his work on V/H/S/Beyond, where he contributed Stork - a truly terrifying story about a police unit investigating cases of missing babies - to the horror anthology series.

The Cycle will be released on Shudder on October 23rd.
