However, it turned out that Canada, as one of the co-hosts of the tournament, opposed the presence of the Russian team on its soil. This news was revealed by Sebastien Swiederski, the president of the Polish Volleyball Federation. Earlier, it was announced that the Russian men's national team will not participate in the 2027 World Championship, which will be hosted by Poland.

Swiederski said: "Both the Polish government, as the host of the men's world championship next year, and Canada, as the co-host of the women's competition, were against the presence of the Russians on their soil. However, in the end, the United States did not stop them from entering; To be honest, it surprised me."

The head of the Polish Volleyball Federation added: "The Ministry of Sports and Tourism of our country has also clearly stated that it is not possible to hold competitions with the presence of Russia in Poland, and this position was officially presented to the International Federation."

According to this report, following the decision, the Russian women's national team will play all their matches in the World Championship in the United States.

These competitions are going to be held in the cities of Anaheim, Omaha and Orlando in America and Montreal and Quebec City in Canada; With the difference that American cities will host Russian group stage matches and critical playoff stages.
