Pre-orders are up for the PS5 version of Forza Horizon 6, and even the physical version is available.
Forza Horizon 6 is set to release on January 26 for PS5. Pre-orders are live now at all major retailers (check it out on Amazon). This new installment brings the racing action to Japan, on the series' largest map to date, with a variety of biomes to explore, from mountain peaks to the streets of Tokyo, and over 550 vehicles to do it with. Read on for more details.
If you want a physical version (one for PS5 discs after 2028) or a digital version of the standard edition, you can buy one above. It comes only with the base game and no extras. However, if you pre-order the Standard Edition, you can upgrade to the more expensive editions on the PlayStation Store on January 26.

The premium version comes with the base game along with the following:
Forza Horizon 6 is the latest entry in Microsoft's global racing series from Playground Games. It is currently available for Xbox Series X|S and PC and is set to release on May 18, 2026. Offers over 550 real vehicles to collect and spec. It takes place in Japan, where you can race in a variety of biomes.
You can build a valley property to buy a house and display your vehicle collection. You can play solo or co-op or competitively in a campaign full of match types. Pull time attack circuits, Meets and stunts to get out of it.
In this new era for Microsoft, not all of the company's first-person games are coming to the PS5. Gears of War: E-Day, for example, is an Xbox exclusive. But luckily for PS5 owners, Forza Horizon 6 is still heading to Sony's platform.
It's one of the best racing games of its generation, with reviewer Luke Reilly writing, “Technically, Forza Horizon 6 pulls no punches, and it performs like a titan. Aesthetically, it's the most beautiful and sounding game Playground has produced to date, in the most stunning map ever driven – it's absolutely mind-bogglingly detailed. The roads are fun to explore, the campaign is well put together and I simply can't stop playing.
