According to Ambassador Arjan, the Competition Council filed a complaint against the pharmacists' association against the recent decisions of the social security organization and the non-contracting of the social security organization with pharmacies and recognized the actions of the social security organization as an anti-competitive practice.
Based on the decision of the competition council, the social security organization is obliged to sign contracts with pharmacies in a completely transparent procedure.
After receiving the vote of the competition council, Shahram Kalantari Dasanis, the president of the Iranian Pharmacists Association, in a correspondence with the CEO of the Social Security Organization, expressed his hope that in the new period of management of the Social Security Organization, decisions will be made based on mutual understanding and there will be no need to refer to the supervisory institutions to correct them.
