Zelensky complains that the US continues to restrict Starlink operations for the Ukrainian military
Vladimir Zelensky said: SpaceX Internet speed is gradually recovering, but it has not yet reached its full capacity.
Moscow, October 16. /TASS/. Volodymyr Zelenskiy said at a press conference in Brussels: The United States has not yet lifted restrictions on the operation of the Starlink satellite communication system for the armed forces of Ukraine.
The UNIAN news agency quoted him as saying: "The limitations of the Starlink operation for the Ukrainian army have not been completely lifted. The head of the Kiev regime noted that the Internet speed of SpaceX is gradually recovering, but it has not yet reached its full capacity.
Earlier, Sergei Beskrestnov, Zelensky's advisor and expert on communications and unmanned systems, reported that SpaceX has limited the speed of operation of Starlink terminals for the Ukrainian military. According to him, this "disrupted a number of operations." On October 14, Zelensky said that shutting down Starlink was a mistake and called on SpaceX CEO Elon Musk to restore the service. On October 15, the RBC-Ukraine news agency reported, citing sources in the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, that Starshield, SpaceX's military and intelligence satellite program that uses the Starlink infrastructure, has resumed full operations.
