The lines on the hood have made the appearance of the car more serious and help to form a distinctive face. Despite the electric nature of the STX, designers have tried not to make the front end too plain or soulless.

In the side view, the elongated body, low height, short overhangs and prominent fenders make the Opel STX Steel concept dynamic. Meanwhile, the blue-tinged silver color of the body also helps to show the lines and surfaces better. Exclusive 22-inch alloy wheels and Goodyear tires in size 285/35 are other features of this concept. These wide tires and big rims emphasize the powerful presence of the car on the road.

In the rear view, the roof extends with a controlled slope towards the end section. The lights and rear light elements are designed with a completely different structure. Components known as compass axes, illuminated Opel logo and STX writing are among the details that distinguish this segment from the current cars of the brand. The C-pillars are equipped with glass strips that contribute to the design of the rear lighting. By using these elements, Opel has tried to create a specific visual identity for its future products; An identity that can be recognized even in the dark. Another important feature of the Opel STX concept is the use of a camera instead of conventional side mirrors. Such a solution can help improve car efficiency by reducing air resistance.

In the design of the STX concept, Opel has not limited itself to body lines and has also considered a set of active aerodynamic equipment. Some of the rear parts of the car are movable and the blue diffusers can come out of the body when driving at high speed. Also, the vertical elements embedded behind the wheels are mobile. These parts are designed with the aim of better air flow management and can change the aerodynamic condition of the car in different driving conditions.

In electric cars, aerodynamic optimization is particularly important; Because less air resistance can reduce energy consumption. As a result, the travel distance on a single charge is improved. Of course, Opel has not yet published exact figures about the drag coefficient or how much this equipment affects the energy consumption of the STX concept.

The interior of the STX follows Opel's futuristic design language. This part is designed on the basis of painting with light; As you can guess, in this approach, lighting takes the first place.
