Parvaneh: Worker Housing Is a Strategic Priority in Protecting the Livelihoods of the Labor Force

According to Mehr reporter, Morteza Parvaneh, in the first meeting of the provincial labor housing working group on Wednesday evening, referring to the above documents, especially the article 31 of the constitution and the duties specified in the article 149 of the labor law, said: Considering the economic developments, the cost gap between inflation and wages and the high share of housing costs in the household's livelihood basket, providing suitable housing for the working community is an inevitable necessity in the stability and protection of the productive workforce.

The General Director of Cooperation, Labor and Social Welfare of Bushehr province, explaining the model designed in the workers' housing guidelines, stated: The basic distinction of this plan is based on a tripartite partnership model that includes the governance capacities of the government, the ability of employers to invest and the initial labor force, which can accelerate the process of providing housing through legal incentives and credit facilities.

The head of the provincial labor housing committee emphasized the missions announced in the provincial guidelines and added: In the first step, the creation and consolidation of a comprehensive information bank of workers applying for housing in coordination with the provincial road and urban development department is key to identify and screen the qualified candidates in order to allocate land according to the land use and the industrial and native ecosystem of the province.

He considered synergy of the province's banking network as a prerequisite for the realization of these goals and said: With the participation of banks responsible for the welfare of workers, the development of cooperatives and housing, the development of various facility packages with flexible payment and installment patterns and appropriate to the financial capacity of the working community of the province will be pursued seriously.

Parvaneh also announced the formation of a specialized monitoring and supervision committee under the provincial working group and noted: This specialized committee will be responsible for the field inspection, technical control, construction quality assessment and careful monitoring of the progress of the projects until the final delivery stage, so that in addition to the protection of the workers, the technical indicators and the level of satisfaction of the applicants will be realized at the highest possible level.

The first meeting of the provincial labor housing working group was held with the aim of aligning and adopting operational solutions in the realization of the movement to provide housing for the labor and production community, with the presence of working group members and under the chairmanship of the General Director of Cooperative, Labor and Social Welfare of Bushehr province.

The Provincial Labor Housing Working Group consisting of the Director General of Cooperatives, Labor and Social Welfare as the Chairman of the Working Group, the Director General of Roads and Urban Development, the provincial managers of workers welfare banks, the development of cooperatives and housing, the head of the Coordination Center of the Islamic Labor Council of the province, the head of the provincial employer trade union association, the director general of the Social Security Organization, the mayor of the provincial center and the social director of the General Directorate of Cooperatives, Labor and Social Welfare of the province has officially started its activity in Bushehr.
