Honor Robot Phone

The latest gadget from China's Honor Device gives your mobile phone a more engaging camera. The Honor Robot Phone has a 360-degree rotating gimbal that, when activated, rotates the camera out from the back of the phone, where AI software helps it track and interact with subjects — or you in selfie mode — as they move. The gimbal was difficult to make: "We developed a micromotor ourselves and packaged over 100 new parts," says Thomas Bye, AI product specialist at Honor. When the gimbal is not in use, it folds back with the camera panel.
