Intriguing Challenge: Find the Intruder Number! / How Fast Are You?

Can you spot the wrong number in the number table? In this math puzzle, you must uncover the secret behind the numbers and find the intruder.

Safir Arjan - Math puzzles are always the best tool to exercise the mind and discover hidden patterns in the world of numbers. Sometimes a simple look at some numbers takes us into a world of logic and reasoning that is very enjoyable to solve. Today we are going to look at an interesting math puzzle where a table of natural numbers below 100 has been prepared, but there is a small error in it.

Are you ready to find the main suspect or the "intrusion number" like a mathematical detective? Which number is wrong and which number should replace it?

The answer is provided at the bottom of the page.

To find the wrong number, we must first figure out the password for this puzzle. The secret of this table lies in the structure and decomposition of numbers into prime factors. If we look closely at the numbers arranged by size, we notice a common rule: all the numbers in this table are the product of exactly two different prime numbers.

This pattern is true for each correct member of the table; But there is one troubling exception.

Now it's time to find the culprit. Among these numbers, the number 75 acts as an intruder and cannot stay in this group. What is the reason? The number 75 is the product of three prime factors, while the basic rule of this table is based on the product of two different prime numbers.

Therefore, number 75 should be removed from the table and number 74 should replace it. If we look at 74, we see that this number is the product of 2 times 37; It means exactly the product of the product of two different prime numbers, which is placed beautifully and flawlessly next to the other numbers in the table.
