US Official Claims: We Will Respond to Iranian Attacks in the Strait of Hormuz

The American official added: We will continue to counter Iran's hostile actions by repelling attacks and ensuring freedom of navigation at sea.

An American official claimed that Iran's attacks on vessels in the Strait of Hormuz are unjustified and that Washington will respond to any attack on its ships.

According to Ambassador Arjan, a senior American official in a conversation with Al Jazeera TV channel claimed that this country is closely monitoring Iran's attacks on shipping in the Strait of Hormuz, which is an "unjustifiable" action.

This American official added: We continue to counter Iran's hostile actions by repelling attacks and ensuring the free flow of maritime shipping.

He further claimed that the US will respond to any attack on one of its ships by targeting Iranian ships.
