1405 Census to Be Conducted Based on Registry Data from 18 Sources

Deputy for Statistics, Mapping and Spatial Information at the Zanjan Province Management and Planning Organization said the 2026 General Population and Housing Census will be conducted on a registry-based approach using data from about 18 registry sources, and field operations will be more limited than in past censuses.

The Deputy of Statistics, Maps and Spatial Information of Zanjan Province Management and Planning Organization said: The general population and housing census of 1405 is conducted with a registration-based approach and using information from about 18 registration sources, and during this period, field operations will be more limited than the previous censuses.
