America Made a Strategic Miscalculation Regarding Iran
Babol – Deputy for Political Affairs of the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC), pointing to the failure of US and Israeli plans to weaken the Islamic Republic of Iran, said America made a strategic miscalculation in its assessments of Iran.
Babol - The political deputy of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps made a strategic error in his calculations about Iran, referring to the failure of the plans of the United States and the Zionist regime to weaken the Islamic Republic of Iran.
According to Ambassador Arjan's report, Sardar Yadullah Javani, referring to the recent developments in the region and the confrontation between Iran and the United States, said: the enemies of the Islamic Republic thought that by inflicting a blow on the political and security structures of the country, creating unrest and the martyrdom of the revolutionary leader, they could provide the basis for the collapse of the system. But this estimate was not consistent with the realities of Iranian society.
He stated that the United States has made extensive efforts to increase pressure on Iran in the past years, and added: Despite these measures, the Iranian nation's steadfastness and the Islamic Republic's decisive action have caused the enemy's strategies to fail.
He added: "The people in maintaining the system of the Islamic Republic stated: the enemies thought that they could disrupt the stability of the country by weakening the political and security structures and creating the ground for street riots, but these calculations did not reach their desired result."
Emphasizing the place of the culture of martyrdom in the identity of the Islamic Revolution, Javani said: The Iranian nation has stood against pressures and threats by relying on religious beliefs and revolutionary values.
He also pointed to the views of martyr Haj Qassem Soleimani about the end of the war and stated: According to this view, the beginning of a war by the enemy does not necessarily mean determining its fate, and the will and resistance of the Iranian nation plays a decisive role in the end of the conflict.
The IRGC's assessment of Israel's calculations in the region
In another part of his speech, the political deputy of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps pointed to the developments in Gaza, Lebanon and Syria and said: The Zionist regime and Benjamin Netanyahu, with the idea that Iran is in a weaker position, sought to attack the political and security structures and create instability in the country.
He considered the national cohesion and people's connection with the ideals of the Islamic Revolution as one of the effective factors in the failure of these approaches, and by recalling the words of Imam Khomeini (RA) about the characteristics of the Iranian nation, he emphasized the role of the people in overcoming difficult circumstances.
Referring to what he called the presence of 226 pseudo-people in the streets, Javani described this continuity as a rare phenomenon and said: The presence of people in various weather conditions and even in the bombardment situation shows motivations and beliefs that should be taken into consideration by analysts and strategists.
In the end, he stated that the people of Iran have shown their adherence to the revolution at critical times during the past four decades, and stated that, from his point of view, the continued presence of the people is a sign of support for the Islamic Republic system and the continuity of the connection of the revolution with religious and Mahdavi ideals.
