Jask - Interim Juma imam of Ahl-e-Sunnat Jask, criticizing the secular policies in the Republic of Azerbaijan, said that preventing veiled students from entering schools is a sign of the contradiction between the claim of freedom and the restriction of religious beliefs.

According to Mehr reporter, Maulvi Arman Ataz-Zaban, the interim Friday imam of Ahl-e-Sunnah Jask, in his Friday prayer sermons in this city, referring to the state of hijab in the Republic of Azerbaijan, said: removing the hijab under the pretext of secularism is a failed experience and we should learn from past experiences.

Criticizing the secular policies in the Republic of Azerbaijan and preventing veiled students from entering the country's schools, he said: What is being imposed on Muslims today in the name of secularism is not freedom, but the transfer of tyranny from the realm of politics to the realm of conscience and faith of individuals.

Stating that secularism claims freedom but takes a position against Islamic rules, Jask added: This approach reveals the inner contradiction of such a movement.

Atazzaban also criticized what he called Western freedom and pointed to feminist currents and said: These currents follow women in practice and Muslim societies are well aware of this fact.

In another part of his speech, referring to the restriction of the international internet in the Republic of Azerbaijan, he considered this action to be a common procedure among the bullies of the world to hide popular protests and make the situation appear normal.
