Jasek - Referring to the water and electricity problems of the farmers, the governor of Rodan said: To implement the cultivation model, the conditions and problems of the farmers should also be considered.
According to Mehr reporter, Mohammad Mohseni said on Friday evening in a meeting to examine the problems of the agricultural sector, which was held in the meeting hall of Rodan Governorate with the presence of provincial and national officials and a group of farmers, that farmers are following the cultivation pattern, but it must be determined how they can continue their activities despite the restrictions of water and electricity.
Pointing to the problems of farmers with arable land, he added: Agriculture, which has developed 20 hectares of land, is facing restrictions on the consumption of water and electricity today, and the question is raised according to which law and program should it stop its activity and keep its land dry in order to comply with the cultivation pattern.
Stating that the lack of water and electricity is one of the well-known problems of the region, Governor Rodan clarified: People are aware of water shortage conditions and the use of solar panels has also been suggested for consumption management.
Emphasizing the need to solve farmers' problems, Mohseni addressed the provincial and national officials present at the meeting and said: People's expectation is that their problems will be solved, farmers have attended this meeting for four to five hours to raise their issues and problems and get clear answers.
Referring to the importance of agriculture in the region's economy, he noted: If there is no water and agricultural land, there is nothing left to rely on, because the foundation of the region's economy is based on water and soil.
In the end, the governor of Rodan thanked the officials and those present at the meeting.
