According to Mehr reporter, today, Tuesday 21 Mehr 1405, the press conference of the 25th International Exhibition of Livestock, Poultry and Related Industries was held at the Ministry of Jihad Agriculture.
Majid Akafaz Qadiri, head of Iran Livestock, Poultry and Aquatic Feed Industry Association, while explaining the details of holding the Livestock, Poultry and Related Industries Exhibition, announced the strategic slogan of this year's event as "synergy to promote food security and national resilience".
Referring to the sensitive economic conditions and the need to pay attention to food security, especially during the crisis, he said: despite the serious challenges after the removal of the 4,200 Toman currency and the lack of liquidity caused by the functioning of the banking network, the livestock and poultry industry needs transformation in financing and supply chain management. Therefore, the main axis of this year's programs of the exhibition is focused on the topic of "financing, investment and business development".
He stated that the side programs of the exhibition have been prepared in the form of specialized days, and added: The first day is dedicated to "health, nutrition and biosecurity", the second day to "technology and innovation", the third day to "trade, international interactions and investment" and the fourth day to "production quality and productivity". We have asked contributors to present their achievements in the fields of intelligence, artificial intelligence, supplements and concentrates using these designations.
Growing partnerships and supporting knowledge bases
Saying that 50 domestic knowledge-based companies will be present at the exhibition, Nazof Qadiri said: This year, we have witnessed a 75% growth in domestic participants and a 100% growth in the foreign sector, which shows the high dynamism and capacity of this industry in the conditions of oppressive sanctions. Also, in a supportive measure, an exhibition space of 1,000 square meters has been provided to knowledge-based companies for free.
The head of the Iranian Livestock, Poultry and Aquatic Feed Industry Association announced the presence of 16 countries in this year's exhibition and added: Facilitating the presence of 17 trade delegations consisting of 103 foreigners and 280 managers of animal feed factories and poultry farmers across the country is one of our other strategic plans.
Emphasizing the importance of knowledge transfer and training of experts for the future of the livestock and poultry industry, this union official stated: holding 10 specialized panels and providing conditions for visiting tours for students of agricultural faculties are among the priorities of the exhibition so that this industry can use scientific potential to improve production processes and productivity.
Relying on synergies to solve manufacturing challenges
Continuing to explain the programs of this exhibition, emphasizing the need to overcome the traditional approaches in solving the industry's challenges, Mr. Kodiri said: In this year's exhibition, special specialized panels have been designed for all sub-sectors of the livestock and poultry industry, including the machinery sector, which will be managed by the specialized organizations of the same field. Our goal is to deeply dissect the issues and challenges with the presence of government managers, prominent university professors and private sector activists and reach operational solutions.
In another part of his speech, he mentioned the first specialized innovation event in the livestock and poultry industry and said: This event is designed to create a bridge between idea owners, startups, researchers and private sector investors. Last year, more than 300 innovative designs were evaluated in an intense competition, and finally 10 selected designs were introduced.
"Funding" national campaign; The missing link in production
The head of Iran Livestock, Poultry and Aquatic Feed Industry Association, referring to the start of the national financing campaign a month ago, considered this issue to be the most critical current challenge of the livestock and poultry industry and added: So far, more than 30 banks have actively participated in this campaign. In this year's exhibition, special booths and programs have been prepared with the presence of the CEOs of the country's main banks, so that the issues and obstacles faced by the producers can be discussed directly with the representatives of the Central Bank, the Planning and Budget Organization, and the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Finance.
In response to Mehr's reporter's question about the purpose of the presence of 16 foreign countries in the exhibition, this union official said: Selling products, introducing technological services and attracting capital, as well as importing through these countries, are among the goals of the presence of these foreign companies in the livestock and poultry exhibition.
