Lawmaker Explains Kalabarg Credit Increase: Which Households Are Prioritized?

A member of the Parliament's Social Commission announced the phased implementation of the Kalabarg credit increase, saying the credit will be raised for some 40 million people, including heads of households and beneficiaries of the Imam Khomeini Relief Committee and the Welfare Organization, while payments to other beneficiaries depend on securing funding.

A member of the social commission of the parliament informed about the phased implementation of the credit increase of Kalaberg and said: The credit of Kalaberg is supposed to be increased for about 40 million heads of households and beneficiaries of the Imam Khomeini (RA) Relief Committee and Welfare Organization, and payment to other beneficiaries also depends on the provision of credit.

According to the report of Ambassador Arjan Ahmed Fatemi, the representative of the people of Babylon in the Islamic Council, emphasizing the need to increase the credit of Kalaberg for different sections of the society, he stated: Considering the limited financial resources of the government, it is supposed to increase the credit of Kalaberg for about 40 million heads of households and beneficiaries of the Imam Khomeini (RA) Relief Committee and Welfare Organization, and the payment to other beneficiaries also depends on the provision of credit.

Increasing the credit of Kalaberg is done in two stages

Ambassador Arjan wrote: He continued by emphasizing that the issue of Kalaberg is one of the issues that the parliament is discussing and demanding and stated: Due to the lack of financial resources, it has been decided to increase the credit of Kalaberg in two stages. So that in the first stage, in a meeting with the presence of the Minister of Cooperation, Labor and Social Welfare, we examined this issue and emphasized the necessity of increasing the credit of Kalaberg and gave a warning in this regard; Because increasing the credibility of merchandise is a very important issue.

Fatemi also clarified about the parliament's proposal to increase the self-declaration deadline for increasing the number of Kalaberg from one month to three months: this issue has also been raised and the proposal of the parliament is that the opportunity to use Kalaberg's credit should be three months instead of one month.

The head of the household should make a self-declaration

Based on this report, government spokesperson Fatemeh Mohajerani, in her press conference this week, while giving explanations on how to increase Kalaberg's credibility, said: In the first stage, three groups including the aid committee's clients, the welfare organization's clients and similar people, as well as three-person households with an income of less than 20 million tomans who do not have cars and housing, have been selected as target groups.

In another part of his speech, he emphasized: Text messages have been sent to these people and it is necessary for the head of the household to make a self-declaration. The information of family members has already been collected and there is no need for other family members to refer to the system; Only the head of the household should enter the system.

The spokesperson of the government explained about the people who are not able to enter the system: those who do not have a smartphone or are facing problems to enter the system, can use the services of the government counter offices. In the process of self-declaration, people must confirm the accuracy of their information, and if it is found that the information provided is not correct, the amounts paid will be recovered from them. Kalaberg credit of 1 million tomans is still in place and nothing has been reduced from this credit and no one has been removed so far. However, the credit increase is currently underway for the three mentioned groups.
