The export of rural handicrafts became possible without the presence of goods in customs

Referring to the problems raised in Sadat Mahmoudi's handicrafts conference in Maimand, Abdol Karim Biatinia said: Exporting rural handicrafts is possible without the presence of goods in customs.

Abdul Karim Bayatinia, the Director General of Customs of Kohgiluyeh and Boyar Ahmad province, in an interview with the reporter of Arya Heritage, pointed out that there were no problems in customs issues from the weavers, and said: I am now informing the dignitaries that our communication with the people is established through the comprehensive system of customs affairs.

Regarding the start of this process, he said: From 2014 onwards, there is no need for colleagues to be present to do things in any part of the province.

In explaining the working mechanism, Byatinia added: Any person who has access to the Internet, by visiting the customs of the province once and receiving the password to enter the comprehensive system of customs affairs, can enter the system from any part of the province and declare exports.

In response to the question of whether rural exporters should take their goods to the customs, the director general of customs of Kohgiluyeh and Boyer Ahmad said: We promise our friends that in every village, every city and every part of the province that declares to export, there is no need for their goods to be present at the customs. It is enough to inform us and our colleagues will be at their service at the same point and carry out their export.

He also said about those who are not familiar with customs matters: if people need training in the field of handicrafts or do not have customs information, one of them can go to customs as a representative. Our colleagues in the technical field will provide them with training on entering the system, declaring exports, tariffs and the value of the goods they intend to export.

Byatinia also said about the support after filing the application: if they have any problems in the export process, they should contact the colleagues in the technical field. Our colleagues will definitely be at the service of these friends and will help them export easily in the province. We have no problem in this regard.

In response to whether there are any special conditions for exporters, the director general of Kohgiluyeh and Boyar Ahmad said: In order to export, they must have a commercial card. In the field of production, if they have a license and have done standardization, they should provide us with a copy of the license. Our technical colleagues will be by their side so that their export can be done with the smallest problem and in the best way in the province.

He said about the situation of rural weavers: We assume that many of these friends do not have business cards and do not have any infrastructure at their disposal. These people work in the village with weaving traditions, and we, as the government and the custodians of affairs, must think of a mechanism for them.

Referring to the role of the responsible institutions, Byatinia said: Can the field of cultural heritage or rural areas collect these products in a centralized manner? If this happens, it is no longer necessary for women to enter the cycle of obtaining a business card and other processes. Definitely, if they continue to do the same thing, they will earn more.

The Director General of the Customs of Kohgiluyeh and Boyar Ahmad emphasized: Before that, we must collect the products in a centralized manner; Both in line with the honorable governor's order regarding non-oil exports and to solve the problem of these women and these people. Either through a person with a business card or through another business mechanism.

In the end, he addressed the representative of the weavers who was with the Arya Heritage reporter and said: Mr. Mahmoudi, one of you should follow up on this matter. This is our duty. We, the responsible managers and the government, are completely at your service, and there is nothing stopping you from doing your work. Rest in peace. When the governor, the director general of cultural heritage are here together, we will move forward.
