Karaj – The acting head of Alborz Sports said that developing sports infrastructure and securing funding proportional to population growth are essential for advancing sports in the province.

Karaj - Head of Alborz Sports said: Development of sports infrastructure and provision of funds in accordance with population growth is one of the necessities of promoting sports in the province.

According to Mehr reporter, Hamidreza Rezaei, head of the General Directorate of Sports and Youth of Alborz province, today in the election assembly of the weightlifting board of the province, referring to the high population density of this province and the increase in sports needs, the development of infrastructure and the provision of the required funds are among the necessities of promoting sports in Alborz.

Referring to the population conditions of the province, he said: Alborz is facing wide needs in various areas, including sports, due to the acceptance of immigrants and the increase in population, and the provision of facilities suitable for these conditions should be considered.

Stating that population growth increases the demand for using sports spaces and facilities, he added: The development of sports infrastructure should be followed according to the population and real needs of the province.

Head of the General Administration of Sports and Youth of Alborz Province, referring to the state of the country's sports infrastructure, emphasized the necessity of following up credit claims and using existing capacities to improve the province's sports facilities.

Rezaei also pointed to the measures taken to follow up credit issues, and emphasized the need to plan and determine a clear path to solve the problems and develop sports in the province.
