Tehran plans to invite Gazprom to develop gas fields in Iran

This official regarding the joint production of gas said that Tehran and Moscow do not have a special plan in this field.

Moscow, October 16. /TASS/. Saeed Tavakoli, Deputy Minister of Oil and CEO of the National Iranian Gas Company, said in the Russian Energy Week: Iran plans to invite Gazprom to develop gas fields in the Islamic Republic.

"Yes, we plan," he said in response to a question.

Regarding joint gas production, this official said that Tehran and Moscow "do not have a special plan in this field". He noted: Iran will use the potential of Gazprom and other Russian companies according to the terms of the discussed contracts.
