Kharg - Imam Juma Kharg, emphasizing the place of service in religious teachings, considered the nursing community to be one of the pioneers in serving the people and emphasized the need to honor and support the activists of this field.

According to Mehr reporter, Hojjat-ul-Islam Mahmoud Kargar, referring to the connection between religious values and Iranian culture, said on Friday night at the ceremony of honoring the nurses of Kharg Island: serving the people is one of the prominent values in Iranian religious literature and culture, and the nursing community has an important and sensitive responsibility at the forefront of this field.

He considered service in Islamic teachings to be more than a social duty and added: Patient care is not limited to providing medical services, but it is companionship with a person who needs support, comfort and attention more than ever in times of pain and worry.

Referring to the difficulties of the nursing profession, Imam Juma Kharg said: Continuous presence with patients, enduring work pressures and continuing to serve in difficult conditions are manifestations of nurses' responsibility and adherence to human and moral values.

Emphasizing the necessity of strengthening the culture of service in society, Kargar said: honoring nurses should not be limited to special occasions, but should be accompanied by continuous support for this group and proper appreciation for the efforts of people who prioritize the health and comfort of others.

He pointed out: protecting the position of nurses is an opportunity to pay attention again to the value of service and strengthen the culture of responsibility in the society.
