Iranian Sociological Association - East Azarbaijan branch organizes a review meeting of the book "Abandon Taboos, Social, Cultural Norms and Women's Health".

According to Ambassador Arjan, quoted by the public relations of the Iranian Sociological Association, in the review meeting of the book "Abandon Taboos, Social, Cultural Norms and Women's Health", Fatemeh Gulabi, full professor of sociology at Tabriz University, head of Tabriz University's Social Research Institute and director of the Women and Family Studies Research Group, will give a speech. The secretary of the meeting is Solmaz Saghli, PhD in Economic Sociology and Development, Tabriz University.

It is stated in the introduction of the book: Annette Medlock Gatison in the book "Abandon Taboos; Social, cultural norms and women's health" shows that women's health cannot be reduced to biological and medical factors only; Cultural taboos, social inequalities and power relations affect women's experience of the body, illness and access to health services.
