Europeans Are Not Seeking Peace Between the Two Countries

The Kremlin spokesperson criticized Brussels' negative role in peace talks between Moscow and Kyiv, saying European governments do not want peace between Russia and Ukraine.

The spokesman of the Russian Presidential Palace (Kremlin) criticized the negative role of Brussels in the peace talks between Moscow and Kiev and said that the European governments do not want to establish peace between Russia and Ukraine.

According to Arjan's ambassador, Dimitri Peskov announced in a press conference: "The calls about the ceasefire in the energy sector are continuing and the Kremlin will inform in this regard as soon as the situation becomes clear."

He added: Russia has stated many times that it is not looking for a ceasefire, but wants a long-term peace and is ready to take any possible action to achieve it. In the situation around Ukraine, Russia is looking for effective measures and responsible solutions that pave the way for a peaceful solution.

This Russian official said: Europeans are not in favor of peace in the Ukraine crisis, but rather belong to the war camp. Europe continues to do everything to prevent the conflict in Ukraine from stopping.

Stating that Moscow expects impartiality from the court related to the Nord Stream pipeline explosions, Peskov added: "We expect that the perpetrators and commanders will be introduced during the hearing of this case." No one doubts about the real perpetrators of this attack.

He said: Russia was ready to continue peace negotiations immediately after the Duma elections, but Kiev launched unprecedented and widespread attacks against Moscow. Kyiv does not want to hold elections. This is quite obvious.

The spokesperson of the Russian presidency also said about Ukraine's proposal to establish a 60-day ceasefire: Kiev needs a 60-day ceasefire not for elections, but to heal its wounds and continue the war.
