According to Mehr reporter, Mohammad Reza Gholami, the new head of Alborz Weightlifting Board, after being elected in the election assembly of this board, emphasized the necessity of interaction and cooperation of the sports complex of the province to develop weightlifting and support athletes.

Referring to the end of the previous administration's responsibility period and the beginning of the new board's activities, he said: "The change of administration and the holding of elections should not create a problem in pursuing the demands of the athletes, and the support of the activists in this field should be continued seriously."

Emphasizing the capacity of the youth and sports talents of the province, he added: the development of weightlifting requires the support of sports complexes, interaction between related institutions and the use of existing capacities.

The head of Alborz Weightlifting Board pointed to the necessity of mutual cooperation to improve the status of this discipline in the country, and emphasized the need for synergy and support for the athletes and providing the basis for their progress.

Gholami also appreciated the efforts of the former officials of the board and people who have worked in the development of weightlifting in the province.
