7 conditions for registration of imported cars + details and clearance method were announced

Customs announced the clearance and numbering criteria for imported cars of Iranians living abroad.

According to Ambassador Arjan, the Iranian customs in a circular addressed to the supervisors and general managers of the executive customs of the country, announced the executive instructions on the clearance of imported cars belonging to Iranians living abroad with the aim of speeding up the clearance process, protecting the rights of the government and creating a single procedure until the final determination of the value of these cars.

The import of cars by Iranians living abroad was stopped + details and the cause of the incident

According to this circular, if the imported car does not have a value identifier (TSC) in the customs value database and the car owner requests clearance before the announcement of the opinion of the working group of Note (6) of Article (12) of the law on organizing the automobile industry, clearance will be possible by observing 7 special conditions and mechanisms:

1. Obtaining an undertaking for the difference in import duties: the owner of the goods is obliged to provide a notarized undertaking that if the inferred value is determined higher than the declared value by the working group, he will take full settlement of the difference in import duties with the first customs notification.

2. Numbering lock in the customs affairs system: a red warning message is recorded in the comprehensive system that the numbering of the cleared vehicle will be subject to the collection of the possible difference and the issuance of the final invoice.

3. Non-issuance of electronic address (BIJK): The executive customs are obliged to refuse to register the BJK in EPL and confirm the exit trip in the new system (IRICS) after completing the formalities.

4. Notification to the Economic Security Police: In order to coordinate the movement of the car from the customs premises to the warehouse of the goods owner, the situation is reflected in an administrative letter to the Faraja Economic Security Police.

5. Sending the case to the value determination office: The executive customs must send the exact specifications of the vehicle to the value determination office of the Iranian customs and record the details for follow-up until the final result is obtained.

6. Issuing a letter of demand for past cases: Regarding cars that were previously cleared without a TSC ID, necessary legal measures will be taken, including the issuance of a letter of demand for the deduction received to prevent the passage of legal time.

7. Issuing the final license for numbering after determining the value: after creating the TSC ID and receiving the full amount of the possible difference, the passport is issued, the departure trip is confirmed, and the status is certified by the customs managers by inserting the words "noticeable by the traffic police" on the declaration, so that the numbering process is allowed.
