The Russian diplomat describes the events of Alyushki as a Kiev war crime
According to Rodion Miroshnik, Ukraine is killing the civilian population, creating artificial famine and unbearable living conditions.
GENICHESK, October 16. /TASS/. The current events in the city of Alyushki, where Kiev forces are killing civilians, organizing artificial famine and creating intolerable living conditions, are a war crime by Kiev, Russian Foreign Ministry Ambassador-at-Large Rodion Miroshnik told Tavria TV.
"Our goal now is to strongly appeal to allies and countries that are closely monitoring these events but maintain their neutral status. They are not seeking alignment with any side of the conflict," he said. However, in this case, we ask them to strictly and continuously adhere to the norms of international humanitarian law, because what is currently happening in Alyoshaki is considered a crime."
The Russian diplomat added: This is the killing of civilians, the creation of artificial famine and the creation of unbearable living conditions.
Miroshnik noted that 193 countries have signed the Geneva Convention, including the governments that are turning a blind eye to the ongoing events in Alyoshaki.
According to him, a large information campaign has been launched in order to justify the financial support of the Kiev government, which Western propaganda presents as "good" and "misbehaving" Russia.
