The band of thieves of 40 billion gold was destroyed in Shahinshahr

Isfahan - Shahinshahr police chief announced the arrest of two professional thieves who stole more than 40 billion Rials worth of gold and jewelry by breaking into five villas.

Colonel Ehsan Badiyan said in a conversation with Mehr reporter: Following the occurrence of several cases of theft of jewelry and valuables from villas in different areas of Shahinshahr city with similar methods and tricks, the matter was specially and expertly put on the agenda of the intelligence police detectives of this city.

The Police Commander of Shahinshahr city added in explaining the details of this case: Detectives of the Intelligence Police, by carrying out technical measures, detailed information observations and collecting clues in the robbery scenes, found out that two non-native thieves were identifying houses and carrying out robberies using a Peugeot Pars vehicle equipped with a stolen license plate.

He clarified: With round-the-clock efforts and targeted patrols, the hideout and hangout of these thieves was identified, and finally, with the coordination and order of the judicial authority (city prosecutor), one of the thieves was arrested during a surprise operation in his hideout in Shahinshahr, and his accomplice was also trapped in a pursuit and hit-and-run with the effective cooperation of Isfahan police detectives in one of the areas of Isfahan metropolis.

Referring to the explicit confession of the defendants to 5 thefts from houses in Shahinshahr, Colonel Badiyan pointed out that during their robberies, these people had stolen more than 40 billion Rials of gold and jewelry from inside the houses and sold the stolen property to thieves.

The police chief of Shahinshahr stressed the necessity of observing safety points and equipping houses with protection and anti-theft systems, and reminded: after completing the investigation, filing preliminary files and confessing to the crimes committed, the accused were handed over to the competent judicial authorities for the legal procedures.
